For everyone that couldn’t make the 2010 Liquid Conference in Chicago, Floasis member Phedhex has put up a torrent of all the footage that he shot. You can find the torrent at Pirate Bay: http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5934047.
If you don’t know how to download via torrent, you can learn everything you need to know here: http://www.utorrent.com/documentation/beginners-guide.
I received an unexpected opportunity to make good on my only big regret in life (ie, not having recorded an album w/my band). I’m on dance hiatus to dedicate myself to this project, which will take up my spare time for a while. I’ll still be bumbling around on Floasis and updating this blog, just no longer practicing and striving to achieve greater skill levels, for at least a year.
I created a final clip. Hope you enjoy.
The body flow articles up until this point have been focused on the actual technique involved with creating body flow, but one of the advantages of a full body approach is the potential for adding a soulful groove to your liquid dance. This soulful groove provides character and emotion, expression beyond “that looks trippy.” We will explore how to implement soul in liquid by observing simple grooves and then applying the body flow concepts of shapes, contours, and threads (see previous articles).
